The New York Jets finished the season 7-9, but not many people realize how solid this team was to end the season. In 2019, Sam Darnold’s mono early in the season literally cost this team a chance to compete for the last wild card slot. Had Darnold played for the NY Jets in those games and come away with two wins, suddenly you’re looking at a 9 win team.
With Darnold in his second season with Adam Gase, the NY Jets offense could take a step forward this year. LeVeon Bell will be back along with Jamison Crowder, but what will happen at wide receiver? Will Robby Anderson be leaving? What about Demaryius Thomas? And will Greg Williams have this defense wreaking havoc across the AFC East? Will the 2020 New York Jets make the playoffs this year? We wouldn’t be surprised.
